Another fine day, been shopping and now I'm off to get a haircut as the wife and I are out to a formal dinner. So I've had to dust off the dinner suit. Unfortunately when I originally wore it in Barcelona i was a mere 12st 3lbs, but now i am 13st 8lbs, oops! Still it's only for one night and after one or two drinks it won't matter much anyway.

Well, It's been a while but i have been on holiday to Spain. In fact we were staying very close to the site of the forthcoming Spanish open of 2008 "La Finca"

The course is being prepared for this event, which is still nearly 2 years away, but promises to be very exciting! A lot of expats in the area, will be hoping to take advantage of this event by renting out their holiday homes at a premium rate. And they should be quite successful, as the event is very popular and this area of the Costa Blanca, known as the "Vega Baja" is full of interest.

Handicap

Well my brother is now playing regular golf at hockley and has gotten his handicap down to four.
He says it's a great club and youngsters can join for about £50 per year plus £50 membership!

PHEW! It's a hot, humid night here in southampton and it's not going to get much better over the next few days. Still, we'd only be complaining if it were raining!
I just wish that the powers that be, ie; My Boss! would maybe have pity on us poor souls, working for his benefit, in such conditions and maybe cool us down, with the occassional ice cream.

No such luck!

Still at least i get paid extra money and as i'm off to spain on tuesday it will help.
